I've memorized this place; I wouldn't come back even if heaven were here. I booked a shower two hours ago and I'm still waiting.

Subject Formal Complaint Regarding Shower Facility – Pilot Travel Center #367 To the Management and Administration of Pilot Travel Center #367, 2226 FM 1903, Caddo Mills, TX 75135 I'm writing to formally report an unacceptable experience during my visit to Pilot Travel Center #367. I arrived at your location at approximately 1:30 AM on December 20, 2025, and used both the fuel services and the shower facilities. I paid $18 in cash for a shower and was assigned Shower Room #6. After entering the shower, undressing, and turning on the water, only cold water was running, and at very low pressure. I waited for a considerable amount of time, attempting to adjust the faucet in all possible directions, but hot water never became available. It appeared that the faucet was malfunctioning. Because I was already soaped and undressed, I could not reasonably leave the shower to report the issue at that moment. As a result, I was forced to complete the shower using cold water, in winter conditions, which caused significant discomfort and exposure to cold. I finally exited the shower at approximately 2:35 AM local time. Afterward, I reported the issue to the male employee on duty that night. He entered Shower Room #6, inspected the faucet, and stated—calmly and without surprise—that the faucet requires being hit forcefully and knocked against the wall in order for hot water to work, as it frequently gets stuck. This response was extremely concerning. It indicates that the issue is known, yet the shower room remains in service and customers are charged for its use. I would like to ask the technical staff and management of this travel center: Do you consider it acceptable to charge customers for the use of shower facilities that contain known defective equipment, especially during winter conditions? This was my first negative experience using a shower at a Pilot Travel Center, and it was deeply disappointing. I hope that appropriate corrective action will be taken to repair the malfunctioning equipment in Shower Room #6, if this has not already been done. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I expect that Pilot Travel Centers will maintain safe, functional, and professional standards for all paying customers. ----- Best regards, Yury B.
