    We all know that electric vehicles don't fully recharge as fast as petrol vehicles do. Even the fastest fast chargers still take a while compared to even the slowest fuel pump taking ten minutes from fumes to full. So the challenge with EV chargers is what do you do while the electrons are flowing. How can you do something useful in that time you're just... waiting. This EVgo solved that problem. It's in the parking lot of Burleson's Cracker Barrel which is right off I-35W. Three ports here - CHAdeMO at 50 kW, CCS at 50 kW and J1772 at 7 kW. Options no matter what flavor of connector you're rocking. Super easy and super convenient and while you're waiting, the Southern comfort cooking of the Cracker Barrel. It worked for me as did the breakfast. Filled and filled.

    J1772 charger's monochrome screen is very difficult to read, but was able to successfully initiate a session with my ChargePoint fob card. The station does not appear to be communicating with the ChargePoint app (I am aware this is an EVgo station, so perhaps there's connection issue between EVgo and ChargePoint), but the car charges successfully. Grabbing brunch at Cracker Barrel while it charges is nice.
