    Shawn explained to me very well what I needed and why I needed it but he wasn’t pushy with it, just helping me out. He explained all the services that I asked for and the prices. All staff was friendly and I was in and out in great timing based on the services I was getting. This is the only place I go to for oil changes and will continue to be the only one. 10/10 would recommend.

    Oil change a few days ago. Had been coming to this Castro oil change place in Bryan for several years — appreciating fast , cheerful service… and loving the notion of supporting a local Hispanic family in business. With this stay, there was a real sense of changed ownership. A lot of questions — pressing for contact details (for follow up). Oil change itself took twice as long as previous visits. Sure wasn’t “10 minutes.” Small but certainly registering was young lady showing my air filter (a little dirty but, hey, I’ll replace that myself). I did ask her to blow it out with air hose. “Oh, we don’t do that any more.” Gone, amidst it all, was a sense of small local business I was supporting and a sense of being wrapped up in a chain.

    I went on a Saturday..I normally go during the week But the service was always great so I decided to wait, even though there was three cars ahead of me, And they did not disappoint, so Strickland brothers is my new go to but the same go to lol, oh yeah, one of the Service personnel was walking out giving everyone a cold water that was kind and at the end we got an air freshener. Also, that was new and unexpected.👍🏽

    (0 stars) My fiancée went to have her filter changed, and they ended up breaking all the clips off of the cowl weatherstrip, which caused an excessive amount of shaking under the hood. So she immediately turned around and pulled back into the shop to ask them about it, and they tried to play it off, saying that that just happens over time and they didn’t break the clips, knowing damn well they did. The car had no shaking before she left the shop. These people obviously don’t take accountability when they mess up, and that’s just very unprofessional.

    Although my mother has been to Strickland Brothers it was my first time. Their customer service is top notch! As soon as we pulled up (didn’t even have time to put truck in park) Anna greeted us with a smile and bottled water. She notified us it would be a 10 minute wait. As soon as she walked off another employee came out to greet us and bring us water🙂. The fact that you get greeted and feel acknowledged is A+ in my book, as so many businesses don’t even greet you these days. The wait was exactly 10 minutes as we were told. When we pulled up the employee was smiling and ready to work. Anna then walked up again and was very thorough and explained everything to me. She also gave me additional information on maintenance and told me I can go back in a month to have them give me a free check on oil. I would highly recommend them as their customer service was excellent!
