They have a large fleet so typically have most common vehicle types on hand. During my last rental, John was very apologetic about having to rent me a vehicle that a previous renter had smoked in. Unlike other rental locations, he told me about it up front and gave me a discount toward my next rental since it was the last vehicle they had available in that class. I appreciated the honesty as other places just pass problems off to the next customer with no customer care.

I was charged about $1000 more at drop off than the figure I was given over the phone. The manager was unwilling to make a good faith adjustment. Corporate customer service told me they would “escalate” the issue and I never heard back. I would advise Enterprise to be more specific in their language, give itemized breakdowns and price totals every time they are discussing charges over the phone, and/or send over a copy of the updated rental agreement (which should already be standard practice).
