  My experience with the branch was fantastic. Great service and friendly staff. However, I have a huge problem with the phone service, which I'm assuming is foisted on them from corporate? Automatically keeps you on hold for ten minutes and then hangs up without the option to leave a message requiring me to call back and go through this who knows how many more times? What a colossal waste of time

  Slightly mixed review. I made a booking on the website for pick up and drop off at the Brownwood location and only a few minutes later received a call from a booking agent to let me know they would not have any vehicles available at the time of my booking due to the short notice and too many vehicles in the shop. Very unfortunate for me but I very much appreciate that they called so quickly so I could make other plans.

  I was very impressed by the fast and friendly service at the Brownwood Enterprise office. They provided me with a very similar vehicle to the one I had wrecked. I highly recommend using the Brownwood Enterprise!

  I called this location five days ahead of the pickup date for my insurance rental. The guy (never would give his name) was unhelpful and negative about being able to get the vehicle we needed to replace the one that was going into the body shop. He promised a call back that never came. When I followed up the morning before the date needed, he said that none of the other locations had called him back but that he would follow up and call me back. Of course, he never did. I called corporate and was able to transfer my reservation to Stephenville - but of course, the guy at Brownwood wouldn't pick up the phone in several calls to complete the transfer. He was a complete nightmare - it would've been better if he had just said outright that he didn't feel like doing the work to accommodate our reservation. My partner has had similar interactions with him during past rentals, as well. We will never give this location another chance. We'll drive to Stephenville or Killeen.
