  I had to call my warranty company (Permaplate) and put in a complaint against the vendor and request for a more replicable company. I was scheduled on a Saturday & the tech actually came & jumped out like he was running a pyramid scheme stating that the wrong glass had been ordered. How do you order the wrong glass with a Vin#. Well apparently my car was so special that it needed a super unique OEM windshield. Monday no one showed up. Tuesday no one showed up and now any glass was okay, but they accidentally scheduled me with the wrong company. By now I didn’t believe anyone would come Wednesday so I called and the Baytown location who had me scheduled and confirmed they had my windshield stated that they don’t even have mobile technicians. So now the Deerpark location was scheduling me for another no show. Safelite had 4 different opportunities and failed at each one. The level of customer service is below one star and they need to seriously regroup. It’s one thing to loose customers, but to be so bad that you loose vendors is a different level of poor customer service. Chris at the Beltway @ 290 location, you failed. Domingo at the Baytown location you failed & Dee at the DeerPark location, you also failed.

  The technician repaired the windshield on my Lexus RX350 and did an amazing job, and was much cheaper than replacing it.

I could select a time window that fit my day, with automated confirmations by email and text. The service offered flexible options, including same-day or next-day appointments in many areas. The new windshield fit well with clean edges and proper alignment, no noticeable gaps. Quality and workmanship The seal looked solid, and there were no leaks during light rain in the days following installation. The windshield appeared distortion-free, and there was no wind noise introduced after the install. Basic maintenance tips were provided to protect the windshield and support adhesive cure time.
