- TDToria DavisNov 9, 20251.0Today I had an oil change done on my car and was told my battery was in the red and needed to be changed so I came to this autozone to get a second opinion. I asked at first for an estimate of a new car battery and was told an amount that was higher than what I was looking for which was fine. I left and then came back to ask if they offer the option to "charge" car batteries and was told "no" and that they would only charge a car battery if the battery was outside of the car. I went to the autozone in Baytown on garth and was told "yes, they do charge batteries and that any autozone should be able to charge your battery in or out of your car because autozone carries batteries and should offer services for your battery". I was confused and very offended and was even asked by the employee at the autozone on Garth rd if I was sure I went to a autozone and I said yes I left from the one on hwy 146 about 15 minutes ago. I had all of my questions and the things I needed done at the autozone on Garth instead such as having my battery tested and the option to have it charged if needed.
