  The team here always takes excellent care of my husband and I’s vehicles. Recently I took my car in for what I thought was a brakes issue and they let me know it was not my brakes, but my tires - even though that meant they weren’t going to make any money that day. Not long after I took my car in for a tune up; it’s older and I drive into Austin M-F. They made me a list of recommended services in order of importance and when I brought it in for service with a budget, they took care of all the things they could within that budget same day - as well as dropped me off at an appointment in town while they did the work. Grateful for honest mechanics who are kind and really care for and take care of their customers.

  My pickup broke down in Bastrop and we found Rush on google and gave them a call. I talked to Andrew and he was explaining what fuses to pull to keep from more damage and all ofa sudden the tow truck showed up and Wes took over, rode with him to shop where Andrew explained and gave me a really reasonable estimate. Joe the shuttle driver gave us a ride back to our camp site and said to call shop if we needed a ride anywhere. He was great and had some good life stories. Overall they all made us feel way less stress and very comfortable dealing with them. I would highly recommend them and if ever needed and near by they would be my choice.

  I’m very appreciative of Aaron and the team here. In the same way they conduct business at MainLane (sister company), the folks here are honest, knowledgeable, timely, and don’t bs you. They will continue to be my first call if ever I have problems with my vehicles in the future. Cheers y’all!

  Rush Automotive in Bastrop is the shop I trust with my 2500 Ram diesel. When my water pump failed, I called and spoke with Aaron, who asked me to bring the truck in right away. Within a couple of hours, he called to confirm the issue, and Joel, the mechanic, had already pinpointed the leak coming from the water pump. While it was there, I also asked about servicing the transfer case, and Aaron was happy to take care of that as well. I was honestly surprised at how fast everything was completed—just a few hours later, Aaron called again to let me know my truck was ready. I didn’t expect same-day service, especially for that kind of repair. Joel did an excellent job, and thanks to their quick turnaround, I didn’t have to rent a vehicle to get my son to his soccer activities. I truly appreciate the professionalism and efficiency from both Aaron and Joel. They turned a stressful situation into a great experience. I’ll definitely keep coming back to Rush Automotive for any future truck needs!

  I can't say enough about these folks. The main thing is that I know I'm getting the truth of what's wrong with my vehicle. I have a decent knowledge of auto mechanics so I believe I can say this with confidence. I've taken my truck to Rush multiple times over the past few years and have gotten the same honest work. They won't be the cheapest if that's what you are looking for, but in the long run it will be worth it knowing you're not getting screwed. Good people too. Aaron helped me recently, and he seems like a great guy who likes his job. Rare.
