    I would like to give this location 5 stars for customer service, specifically Robert who handled the issue l am going to describe, but l went with 4 stars due to the reasons l will mention. When we went to pick up the reservation there were a couple of unexpected issues. First, l didn't realize there would be a 300.00 deposit in addition to the cost of the week rental. Nothing my husband and l looked at while setting this up online stated there would be a 300.00 deposit. The gentleman who was helping me collect my rental said there was a 300.00 deposit listed in the details, but l must have missed it. I would genuinely like to be shown where this charge is listed in the online process, as my husband and l did this together and we did not see a $300.00 deposit charge anywhere. It would not have prevented me from renting of course, but l would have rather this been very clear in the online reservation we created as this changed the payment method l was planning on using (they do not allow split tendering between cards). Then we were informed that the car we ordered was not available for either cleanliness reasons or some other issue that they felt made it not suitable for us so they offered me either an upgrade of a larger vehicle for the same price or a discounted different vehicle- excellent. We loved having the option. I chose the Ford Explorer, the larger vehicle, but then we had to wait about 35-40 mins to collect it as they needed to clean it for us. So we left and came back as soon as hey called. We looked over the whole exterior with the Enterprise rep and got video/pics, signed forms and off we went. l didn't see all of the interior though until prepping to pick up my sister and nieces at the airport. The front passenger seat had crumbs on it, the visor mirrors had spittle/dirty specs of some kind on both of them when l opened them and there was a big dirty handprint on the ceiling near the rear view mirror (these all came clean easily with windex and fabric cleaner). There were crumbs of some kind on the back bench too- but the biggest thing was 3 inches of some kind of crusty dried, white substance near the buckle of the rea right passenger. It looked like toothpaste or frosting with white crumbly bits around the edge. I used a napkin and could scratch it, which resulted in more white bits scattered over the space and so l took pictures of all the issues and called. I spoke to Daniel. He was very friendly and offered to either swap the vehicle out, to clean it more thoroughly or to reimburse me on the back end. I didn't have the time to bring it back so l asked to have something corrected when we returned it and l would clean the car myself. It was just one of those things where l wasn't expecting to have a dirty car when we had to wait for it to begin with due to cleaning. In any event, l very much appreciated the responsive attitude and willingness to make it right. The car itself was comfy/roomy for my guests and l appreciated having the larger cabin space, so it was a situation where something might have gone a little sideways at first but it worked out really well. And best of all- l spoke to Robert the day of the return and he was incredibly friendly and wanting to make sure l felt taken care of in regards to reimbursement. He listened without rushing things and asked me what l would feel was a fair resolution and he made things right. So, l would def give the business 5 stars for customer care even though l had to give 4 stars related to the waiting and cleanliness of the car. I would also be willing to rent from this location again if l needed a rental for sure. Robert and Daniel both represented the company well and from what l saw in other reviews, this location has a great reputation because of the excellent staff and management here. Would recommend this location P.S. l would gently encourage those members who are prepping the cars to really take a close look at the interior before passing it off to a customer.

    In my limited experience renting cars here in Austin, y'all have some of the worst cars I've ever driven. I mean, the Malibu and the Durango are just awful vehicles to drive. That being said, I keep coming back to enterprise for a reason. Every single person who's ever helped me has been courteous, professional and kind. Service has been quick and easy to use. I give y'all 10/10 for customer service and great employees. I give whoever is in charge of fleet procurement a 1.5/10. These car choices offend me on a spiritual level y'all!

    I was refused a rental car because my drivers license had a chip off the corner. They asked if I had another ID and I said yes I have a US passport, but that wasn’t sufficient either. The manager claims this is the policy of Enterprise Rental car company and despite me being a prior customer I was left stranded at their location after they picked me up from the repair shop my car is at. Progressive insurance said I had to us this shitty location and made the reservation. The staff were unprofessional and asked if I had a “valid” ID aside from my valid TX License with a tiny chip out of one corner. The manager Robert was unwilling to give me his bosses phone number and I was left stranded at their location until I contacted another car rental company who couldn’t believe the incompetence of this place. I will NEVER rent another junker from this abysmal company again. This was probably the most asinine rental experience of my entire adult life and Enterprise has lost me as a customer for life. I do plan to write a very positive review for a local rental company who picked me up and immediately arranged a super nice vehicle and had zero issues with my license having a chip off one corner. If you go here beware that you may encounter the same horrendous experience I did . I want to also ad I waited until 3pm because they said they didn’t have a vehicle until then and went out of my way to accommodate their unprofessional schedule only to be left with no vehicle and their Bullshit policy. I’ve rented vehicles all over the world and this was by far the most outrageous experience I have ever had in my life.
