Cohen (technician) called ahead like I requested and showed up on time. The problem started when he began to put the new glass in and it cracked while prepping it. Cohen showed me that crack and told me he had called/informed his supervisor. After checking with other stores they did have another windshield to use. Long story short, what started off as a 3 hour job turned into a six hour job. Cohen was professional and polite. Watching Cohen extract/install the windshield you could see he was experienced, knowledgeable about his work.

I was having the side sliding door glass replaced on my 2023 honda Odyssey, the tech brought out the wrong glass 2 times, i was re schedule for another day, the door was left disassemble with crush wrap on the vehicle. After 15 days the tech never show back up, I call and all i could get was there automation answering. I kept calling and looking up numbers on the web for this company, finally I was able to speak to a live person. This person tried to dispatch me to the shop that was working on my vehicle, but the shop never return my call nor did a tech show up to complete the work.
Finally I was able to reach the home office for safelite. And after 20 days of waiting on a simple glass repair it finally was repaired.

On 2/21/26, at the South Austin location, we waited while a chip in our windshield was being repaired. Although I didn’t catch her name, the receptionist/front desk clerk was extremely friendly and exemplified outstanding customer service. I also observed her interactions with other customers, and she consistently demonstrated professionalism, kindness, and efficiency. She truly deserves to be commended for her excellent service.

Refused to honor warranty claim and refused to put in writing why they denied it for my insurance. They will fight tooth and nail to avoid doing any work they can’t charge you for.
Poor communication skills - texted me windshield was fixed and my car was ready 5 minutes before closing. I show up the next day to find they actually did not repair my windshield.
The “quality” manager then pointed to a random spot on my cracked windshield and said “that’s the impact point, we’re not going to fix your windshield”. I asked for their denial and reasoning in writing, they refused to do that too.
UPDATE: Just had an insurance adjuster come out and confirm there was absolutely no impact point on my windshield that caused the crack. Thanks for wasting my time Safelight!

Safelite has poor customer service. I was assigned appointment Date of February 16 between the hours of 8 AM to 12 PM and no one called or showed up. The technician named Javier called me at 12:15 to inform me that he didn't get any of his morning appointments and he was way out on the other side of town and wanted to inconvenience me by making me the last appointment in the afternoon. I am disgusted on how service for my car was conducted. I even called Safelite repair and spoke to a gentleman named Kris. I was explaining to Kris my concerns and how I was discussed it and feeling and he just said that and let the phone hang up and never called me back so in my eyes basically my concerns was not how I was inconvenience and want me to be convenient to them and bring my car to their shop. No, I am not gonna be convenient for them when I set an appointment to have them come to my home and at no point did they ever give a resolution to the problem? They kept putting me evenings when I need mornings and no way that they say well ma'am we normally don't do this, but we're gonna come out tomorrow morning. I know this, but we're gonna make it happen but they didn't so I advised everyone be cautious with Safelite because they customer service of coming to you and communication sucks. I rated him a one if I could have, I would've read them a zero because there's no way that a business. Such of this sort should be conducted this way and the people that they have working for them and not communicating with the customer and a certain way, or trying to rectify the problem with the customer that is somewhere that you just don't wanna be bothered with so save your time . Again, I receive no service none whatsoever
