  No car available? Seriously? I've been a loyal member for nearly 10 years and they wouldn't even try to get me a car. I'll keep renting from Hertz when I'm in Austin.

  The most important thing for me was the customer service and the punctuality in delivering the vehicle; it was easy and fast, and I would definitely recommend them.

  I use national for over 100 rental days per year. Unfortunately their automated system that checks fuel level when you return a vehicle is HIGHLY INACCURATE, over the last 10 rentals I've had, 5 of them charged me a refueling charge for allegedly returning the vehicle with low fuel when it was actually full. If the employee doesn't catch the error and you don't double check the receipt before you leave. You get a fun surprise in the bill.
