  Tried to get oil change on Sunday morning. Waited ten minutes for it to open. On door says it’s opens at 9am, however no one was there, and it wasn’t open.

  I went in for an oil change and emissions test, and Morgan was incredibly respectful, professional, and efficient. After I left, I noticed a panel underneath my car wasn’t fully secured. I returned, and they took care of it immediately with zero hassle. They even went above and beyond by giving me a credit for my next visit. Mistakes happen, but how they’re handled matters—and this team handled it perfectly. Outstanding customer service. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend them.

  Friendly service. Would be nice to have vacuum and fill up washer fluid I saw several cars as I waited get windows cleaned, vacuumed, and washer fluid filled but I just got oil changed and a thank you for pretty hefty price even with the appreciated mil discount. Overall, will go back because service was way better at same location for two other vehicles I took on weekdays.

  This review stems from an oil change I had at Jiffy Lube in April 2025. Around November 2025, I began noticing some oil spotting, which progressed into severe and excessive oil leaks from my vehicle by December. As a precaution, I stopped using the car. However, because I was overseas for most of December and January due to the holidays, I was unable to bring the vehicle in right away. When I returned in January, I took immediate action to investigate the issue and determine the cause of the leak. I brought the car to Volkswagen for diagnostics, where I was informed that the oil leak was caused by negligent workmanship during the Jiffy Lube oil change. Specifically, I was told that an old drain plug was reused instead of being replaced, and that it had not been properly secured. This ultimately led to the oil leak and my car being left dangerously low on oil. Volkswagen proceeded with a repair, and explicitly advised me that Jiffy Lube should be responsible for reimbursing the costs, as the issue was directly caused by their improper oil change. I then contacted Jiffy Lube, explained the situation in full, and provided them with the Volkswagen invoice. I requested reimbursement—at the very least for the original oil change, if not for the full repair cost of approximately $200. Jiffy Lube refused to take responsibility, citing that more than 5,000 miles had passed since the oil change. This response is extremely disappointing and ignores the reality that oil leaks caused by reused or improperly installed parts may take time to become apparent. As a result of this negligence: - I incurred unexpected repair costs at Volkswagen - My vehicle was at risk due to oil loss - I now have oil damage in my garage - I spent significant time and effort trying to resolve an issue that was not my fault In my opinion, this situation reflects poor workmanship, cost-cutting at the expense of quality (such as reusing old parts), and a complete lack of accountability when a customer is clearly affected. The only resolution I was offered was a 25% discount on my next oil change, which in no way makes up for the inconvenience, stress, expense, and vehicle damage I experienced. I trusted Jiffy Lube with a routine oil change, and that trust resulted in significant hassle and avoidable problems.

  Came for inspection and got upsold on cabin filter replacement at 4x inflated cost. I really hate this upsale tactics and this Spicewood location is doing it to me the second time around. I would rather them not do it, not go pulling the filters and bringing them to me for a quick sale. This tactics seems particular to this location, not Jiffy Lube in general. So my advice is take your car elsewhere if you prefer your service providers to stay within bounds you have specified.
