The so-called assistant manager, Joseph, provided incorrect information and attempted to overcharge me by $217. It wasn’t until the actual manager got involved that the issue was corrected, bringing the total down to the accurate price of $148. Throughout the entire interaction, Joseph was argumentative, rude, and dismissive. When I asked reasonable questions as a customer, he responded with attitude and made disrespectful facial expressions. To make matters worse, he continued to insist that Jiffy Lube was unable to update my odometer to reflect the oil change—something I’ve never been told in the five years I’ve been a loyal Jiffy Lube customer. Fortunately, the manager stepped in again to resolve the issue professionally and even took the time to apologize, something Joseph never did. Overall, this experience has left a very negative impression, and I will not be returning to this location. Joseph’s behavior was completely unprofessional, and in my opinion, he should not be in a customer-facing or management role until he can demonstrate proper respect and service standards expected from a company like Jiffy Lube.
