    My experience with the Enterprise location in San Marcos, TX has been extremely upsetting, especially after being a loyal customer for years. I rented from this location for about a year, always paying on time and doing everything the right way. Because of that, I trusted the information given to me by Jordan, the branch manager. Jordan told me multiple times that everything with my rental was good. He explained that I had a great deal and that my points covered most of my monthly cost, leaving only a small amount to pay. I relied on that information. But when I went in to renew my contract, suddenly the story changed. My weekly rate jumped to around $260 without warning, and when I asked about a discount because the increase was unexpected, I was told something completely different than what Jordan had originally explained. When I ended my contract, my deposit was handled very poorly. Out of a $300 deposit, they took about $260 and only returned around $40, with no clear explanation. While trying to understand what happened, I discovered I had been placed on a Do Not Rent list. This was shocking because I had rented for a full year without any issues. I contacted Risk Management and spoke with Michael in Austin. He told me that their team decided I could never rent from Enterprise again because they claimed I had been rude and disrespectful “many times.” I asked for proof, such as audio or video, and was told they had none. I asked why, if these issues supposedly happened repeatedly, I had never been notified or placed on a DNR earlier. No clear explanation was given. What makes this even more frustrating is that Jordan, the branch manager, had always told me everything was fine with my rental, and I trusted his word the entire year. The way I was treated feels unfair and unjust. After being a loyal, on-time paying customer, I expected honesty, respect, and consistency—not sudden accusations, unclear charges, and a refusal to rent to me without evidence. It’s clear that integrity and fairness were lacking in this situation. As the saying goes, “God don’t like ugly,” and the way I was treated leaves a strong impression that poor treatment and dishonesty eventually reflect poorly on those responsible. Based on my experience with the San Marcos branch and Risk Management, I cannot recommend this location.

    I returned my rental two days after it was supposed to be returned. I had paid around 140 dollars for 7 days and I was charged 158 dollars on the extra two days. Totally unfair and unnecessary. Abusive, very!

    No option to pre pay for gas, car was not washed, however the is a small rental and it was busy. Staff was great!
