    Christmas Eve and my car battery died—I was genuinely worried I wouldn’t be able to drive to Houston to celebrate Christmas. Thankfully, the AutoZone on S. Congress Ave. was opened , and Dion and Lawrence were incredible. Dion helped me get the right battery, and Lawrence went above and beyond by installing it for me right there. They were kind, calm, and professional during a really stressful moment. This AutoZone truly saved Christmas for me. Huge thanks to Dion and Lawrence!

    Went to this location with my daughter to have a bulb replaced because her brake light was out. Lawrence Marsh was up front assisting a customer. An elderly lady with a beet red face came from the back to assist my daughter. It appeared she was having a bad day because she approached us with "attitude ". She was totally unprofessional. We waited to have Lawrence help us. Not only did he get us the correct bulb, he came to our car and replaced it for us. While he was doing so, the lady who initially greeted us came out and yelled to Lawrence that she was backed up and needed him inside. The reason we went to Autozone is because they assist you with things like replacing a battery, or your windshield wipers etc. It only took Lawrence 10 minutes to replace the bulb. We went back inside to get the lady's name who had an "attitude " and we could hear her complaining out loud while she was assisting a customer , with 2 customers patiently waiting (2 people is a backup?). Lawrence was ready to assist the next customer but politely excused himself to make sure we were good (the customer had no problem with this) before we left. Yes, Lawrence was doing his job (very professionally I might add), but we felt he went above and beyond. He saved us $80 since we didn't have to go to the dealership. We gave him a $10 tip and told him lunch was on us. As for the lady with the "attitude", she needs to be FIRED immediately. Her customer service skills were non-existent. If you go to this location, avoid her and ask for Lawrence. Thanks for all your assistance Lawrence. The 5 stars are for Lawrence, not the lady with the "tude"

    We came to Autozone with a check engine light on our car and Max came out and helped us run through testing, gave great advice, and was super helpful in helping us figure out what steps to take to address other minor issues. Super friendly guy and made our night!

    Honestly the only reason the store is getting two stars is because of how pleasant the two people who I spoke to when I pick the order up were. Aside from that you'll have to make sure that you turn off your Uber Eats when you close because it's unfair for me to have to return an item the next day because you close at 9:00 it's unfair that other orders are being handed out because you close at 9:00 and you haven't updated the system yet it's disrespectful. Now I have to waste my time and come back tomorrow and return this customers order desiigner the customer canceled it or the store requested it to come back knowing full well that it was closed
