  Alamo car rental has been very efficient on all of your travels. I am a member of their "Insiders" program and often utilize their Skip the Counter option when we travel. Our rentals are great the majority of the time but on the few occasions we have had an issue we have contacted their customer service via text and email and they have always worked with us to resolved any issue we have. I will rent from Alamo again in the future.

  This location close at 1AM, and my flight was scheduled to land 12:35AM. Just to make sure that the vehicle will be ready even if it gets delayed, I wanted to inform the employees. I tried calling them in different times and in 3 different days, and no one would pick the phone. It's next to impossible to talk to a real person at this location. Then to be on safe side, I did the "skip the counter" on mobile app. Luckily my flight landed 25 minutes early, and I went to the Alamo office at 12:30AM and there was no employee at that time and the office was closed. So, I went directly to pick the car, and even at the parking I couldn't find a single employee. The app said to go to Jeep Wrangler section, but there were no directions to go to the section. One lady from National offered help and got the vehicle for us. Giving 3 stars because the vehicle was good, otherwise this Alamo location deserves 0 stars for their extremely poor customer service. Also, if you are flying in Frontier, make sure to give yourself some extra time because you must take a shuttle to go to the South Terminal and it's kind of a long drive.

  I would not use this place again. They charged me for the toll pass even though I specifically took a no toll route out of my way. Then they can’t accept my gps coordinates from the day only a debit receipt or something but I didn’t have to stop anywhere on my way so I got screwed. It’s not a lot of money but it’s the principle, I feel scammed.

  I left my wallet in my car rental almost 3 weeks ago. I have filled out every form online, I have called every number I can get to, I have tried my absolute hardest to reach somebody to recover my wallet. I have a tile tracker in it so I know it is at the airport. It pings me every 20 minutes to let me know that my wallet is at the Austin car rental center. It's incredibly frustrating to know that Alamo has such a horrible system for lost and found. So much so that I most likely will never rent a car from Alamo again due to this experience. It shouldn't be that hard to reach somebody to recover a lost item, especially a wallet! I would think that when they found my wallet in the truck that they know I rented, that they would reach out to me and let me know that they have my wallet. They know who rented the truck. They know whose wallet it is but they didn't even try to reach out to me!!!

  I booked a car rental for Avis at the airport, As I had a very sick child with a feeding tube, needing to get to our hotel before bringing her to the hospital. We were from out of state bc My daughter requires a specialty surgery. They booked a car rental at the wrong place and expected me to go there and get the car. Which was impossible. I went over to Alamo, the beautiful soul of a woman was there and she went above and beyond and got us a car. She was amazing and Larry was too so helpful.
