- EWEmmett WesolowskiFeb 23, 20263.0Changing this review to 3 stars because after bad service the day before I gave them another try the next day and they had my online order ready, and all though the service was still slow, there was a better employee working alongside the older woman who has no clue what’s going on. So at least they had my order ready in somewhat reasonable time and had one employee who could do his job. The two the day before were terrible. Slowest store in the world. The people that work there are helpless and don’t care

They were able to find a few additional tools necessary for me to get my battery installed OEM. I left feeling good about the help provided. I will give a heads up, be sure to check if they have what you need at the location you’re visiting. Online shows what they have, not what’s at each store.

Signs of a bad car battery can range from the need for frequent jump starts, slow to start, cranks or clicks but won't start, dash lights work but the vehicle won't start, etc.

HOW DO BRAKES WORK?

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
