- TCT CameronNov 13, 20255.0My husband and I visited this location this morning around 10am, as my husband has visited this location a few times previously and mentioned that he always receives great service. The employees greeted us when we entered and were helpful. We suspected there was either a problem with my car battery or the alternator. Advance Auto Parts employee, Jose, had a battery tester available and conducted the test, which showed that the battery was good but the alternator or starter was most likely the issue based on what we mentioned to him. Jose was very professional, friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and funny. He took the time to explain everything clearly and answer any questions we had for him. He provided cost estimates for a replacement alternator and starter, if we needed to purchase one from Advance Auto Parts or just for our knowledge as we were going to our trusted neighborhood auto mechanics. He also took the time to clean one of the battery connectors (which, left to my own devices, I would have poured a can of Coke on to "clean the corrosive material." By the way, this is not a recommended remedy.) Many thanks to Jose for his help and advice this morning!
- KPKim PriceOct 25, 20251.0I stopped by this location 10/24/25 around 4:45 pm, because I know nothing about vehicles, but had a feeling I was either out of oil, or very low and didn't feel safe trying to make it home to Leander without knowing. I didn't get the associates name, but he was working the front counter. When I shakily asked if he could check it for me he told me no. I asked if he was serious & began tearing up trying to explain I was terrified to drive any further. He was very rude & dismissive telling me to go to Jiffy Lube. The kind gentleman behind me offered to assist me. He advised I could probably use a few quarts, but I should be safe to drive home, and thankfully so because I will never spend my money at your store, and I'm going to make sure I put your store on blast for the misogynistic treatment I received. Please train your staff to do better, & show empathy to women who are alone & in dire need of assistance.

Jack replaced the battery for me and even took a listen to a sound my car was making and helped me identify where the problem was. These guys were super nice and very helpful. Great sense of humor and explained everything to me as we went along. Give these guys a raise or something! Or give them a Polaris as a bonus, I think they could probably do shared custody.
