I highly recommend Dave’s Ultimate Automotive on South 1st. From start to finish, the team was professional, communicative, and stayed exactly on the projected schedule for my truck repairs. A few things that really stood out: • Convenience: They provided a ride to Enterprise so I didn’t have to worry about an Uber or a scooter, which was a huge help. They even offered a loaner vehicle toward the end of the job when my rental return date conflicted with the pickup—I didn’t end up needing it, but having the option was great service. • Communication: My primary contact, Mark, was excellent. He actually listened and understood my concerns regarding the specific work my truck needed. Brad also followed up with a thoughtful message after I got the vehicle home to make sure everything was running smoothly. • The Little Things: The text and email updates throughout the process are a great touch and kept me in the loop. Also, after a long walk over to pick up my truck, the coffee and beverages in the waiting area definitely came in clutch!

My long time neighborhood service center! Always a fair and honest assessment, they always let me know what I need, and what can wait. Friendly casual office with an efficient operation.

Took my daughterss car here for a potential wiring issue. The customer service and pricing were great. I dropped the car off in the morning and had the car back and fixed before 2pm. Definitely recommend and will return with any future vehicle repairs.

Was referred to this spot by a colleague and was so glad I came here. I had a bad experience the day before at another shop and was feeling frustrated. These guys took good care of me and my car and got my AC working again within a couple of hours. The best part is they set expectations on timing and price from the start, called me mid way through the work to let me know what they found, what it would cost, and how long it would take. Communication is KEY is any business and these guys understand that. Will definitely bring my vehicles back to these guys. 10/10.

DONT COME HERE!!!!!!! Long review incoming! I have not been here in a long time. I have to make this review because I continue to find things they did to my vehicles that were either wrong, not properly fixed, or straight out lies. I had a 2013 Highlander where I had to break one of my studs off to get the wheel off. When I brought it to them they told me I had to replace the entire wheel hub because there was no way to knock just the one stud out and that I might as well change the wheel bearing while they were in there. I believe it was like $500 or $600 dollars. Couple years later when long after I decided to start doing my own maintenance and repairs to my own vehicles. I changed the the breaks and rotors on my vehicle. When I looked at the wheel hub I noticed a notch that was specifically there so you could rotate the wheel hub and knock out specific studs. That’s not it. There’s more. My rear main seal went out on my Passat something very common for my vehicle I’ve learned as I have worked on it myself for a few years now. But at the time 3 or 4 years ago I brought it here to be fixed. They told me it was just the rear main seal not that big of a job. A few days go by and they tell me when they lowered the transmission out it just snapped in half and that I needed a new transmission. $2500 for a used transmission. I’m working on my car right now today and I have a bad coolant leak. The coolant flange just above the transmission is common to go bad. When I take pictures of it I found one bolt sitting on top of my transmission and another close to all the way backed out. They are two of the bolts that connect my transmission to my engine. I posted a picture showing them circled in yellow. Ignore the coolant. lol Last people to touch my transmission was Dave’s Horrible Automotive. I’m blessed that my transmission hasn’t fallen out of my vehicle. The moment that I decided to fix my own vehicle was the last time I went to Dave’s when my catalytic converter broke away from the flange that attached it to my turbo. They said I needed a new catalytic converter and that the tech could hear metal inside my turbo and needed a new turbo. All for $4500!!!!! I towed it home and took the catalytic converter off took off the flange from my turbo and had a muffler shop weld it back on for $50. Years later and have had no issues with my turbo and my exhaust is holding on strong. This place is a scammy overpriced shop with mechanics that either have no morals or are complete idiots who have no care for others property. I’m convinced to this day that there tech screwed up and broke my transmission and they lied to me and made me pay for a $2500 used transmission when they should have held there techs accountable because clearly with the two bolts I found coming out of the transmission shows proof of this.
