    Good quality of the car, but bad service after return. After my return of the car and went to the airport via TSA line. I got a call from Alamo staff saying there's a damage on the hood and asked me if I had photos to show the condition before checking in. I. asked him to send me a photo of it. He did very with poor quality, which was hardly seen where the damage. I sent him the photo I took before checking out, but got no response. I called him to tell him I'm going back to check the car. He said I did not need to. I went back to the garage and talked to a lady supervisor and explained the situation. She communicated with the staff via phone but could not find the car after going around. I showed her the photo from her staff and she said it's the poor quality of picture. I told her I would not agree with the damage claim. She said she understood. But two days later, I received a claim that of it from a 3rd party company without mentioning specific damage and no photos to proved. It just asked me for my insurance to proceed. It seems to be a scam. Very disappointing... Although I had rented from this company before and was happy, I will never do it again and tell others to be cautious before you rent!

    I recently rented a vehicle from Alamo Rent a Car through Expedia during my trip to Austin. While the customer service at pickup was friendly and professional, I was very disappointed with the vehicle itself. I had specifically booked a luxury vehicle, and although I understand that we arrived later in the evening (around 9:30 PM) and availability may have been limited, the car we received did not meet expectations at all. The vehicle had several issues: The passenger window did not function properly and could only be controlled from the driver’s side (we did check the window lock multiple times). The windshield had a visible crack. The windshield wipers were worn and ineffective. The brakes also felt worn, which raised safety concerns. The car did not appear to be properly cleaned before being handed over. For a luxury booking, I would expect a well-maintained, clean, and fully functional vehicle. Unfortunately, this experience fell short in terms of vehicle quality and upkeep. That said, I do want to emphasize that the staff provided good customer service, and I have no complaints in that regard. I just wish the condition of the rental matched the level of service and the category I paid for.

    Decided to treat myself to a luxury rental. Was expecting an Audi Q5 and when I arrived they pulled up a base level Q3. I was just expecting a little more. The Q3 was clean and reliable, but it is smaller and does not seat as many. Everything else went well. Checkout was quick and the staff was very friendly. Dropping the car off was quick and painless. I’ll definitely rent from Alamo again.
