  4/4/2026: I needed a new windshield, but I was never able to contact a Safelite rep. Safelite only allows online scheduling. Online scheduling would not allow me to enter either of two promo codes I had, even one that a Safelite telephone recording provided on the same day. Again, no way to ask a rep why the promo codes were rejected. I completed the online scheduling form and received the quote for the job, but I did not submit the form, since it would not accept my promo codes. Over the next couple of days I received several emails from Safelite prompting me to submit the scheduling form. Finally I received an email that provided a new promo code for a $45 discount. So I entered the new promo code in the form and submitted it, and suddenly the job quote added a new expense: $40 to dispose of the old windshield. Some promo code! I decided to go ahead with the job, and the first technician arrived at the scheduled time (8am), but he had not brought the right molding to fit my windshield. He said he could use a different molding, but I insisted on the right molding, so we had to schedule the job all over. When the second technician arrived, he had the correct molding, and he did a very good job with the installation. Nonetheless, I would not be willing to put up with the encountered headaches on a future job.

  ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great experience with SafeLite! The receptionist was incredibly friendly and welcoming from drop-off to pickup—it really stood out. Booking online was easy, the technician explained everything clearly, and the whole process was smooth. Really appreciate that good ole customer service—will definitely be back!

  After going to the Inwood location, I learned my front windshield needed to be replaced entirely due to the origin of the crack. I was given a quote, when order would be in, and able to schedule a mobile appointment before leaving. Pricing was transparent (and much cheaper than filing a claim with my insurance). The on-site team was very helpful. My mobile technician, Belen was prompt, professional, efficient, and thorough with after care for my windshield. I will definitely use Safelite in the future as well as recommend to others. Grade A service!

  I am extremely disappointed with the level of service I have experienced. There is no clear way to contact anyone directly, no meaningful updates have been provided, and calling does not allow customers to speak with the store for assistance. I have now been waiting several days for this repair with no communication, and I am forced to repeatedly follow up on my own just to get basic information. This lack of transparency, responsiveness, and customer care is unacceptable

  I will NEVER use Safelite again!!! I first had them come out to repair 1 rock chip and for advice on a 2nd "minor chip". Well the worse chip the technician fixed great. The 2nd one looked much worse and the technician described that he had to sort of break it to make it seal. He assured me it would hold but also conveniently explained the process and "credit" I would recieve for replacing the Windshield if it cracks. Sure enough, 2 weeks later the glass had a massive 20 inch internal Crack, origin right from the 2nd "minor chip" he fixed. So now I call it in, I was NOT expecting a free Windshield, I knew that wasn't possible but I was expecting some empathy and I had a small coupon I was wanting to use. Nope, both denied! Customer rep said since this was a previous job the coupon wasn't valid ( $50 off, really...SMDH) and that I would only get the credit for the $200 paid for the previous rock chip service. There was also zero empathy, zero acknowledgement that yeah "your technician failure caused the split more than the original rock chip". Furthermore, same technician was the one who came out to replace the glass! His body language alone confirms he knows his failed and should have just advised me to just let the second chip be unless it worsen over time is why he was out to replace my glass! Again...avoid Safelite, shop around for better pricing and let your rock chips be unless they are the size of a quarter. Consider another glass company to fix as Safelite will just tell you "GLASS WILL DO WHAT IT WILL DO"
