- ESEric SheltonMar 16, 20261.0I called on Monday morning and made a reservation for a luxury car. I requested a BMW and they said no problem. When I arrived all they had was a Cadillac, which I didn't want. The counter attendant, later found out she's the manager called all of the locations in the area to figure out who I spoke to. She was unable to locate the car I wanted, I told her that I would take the Cadillac, even though it was not my 1st, 2nd or 3rd choice. She refused to rent it to me even though I asked nicely twice. The 3rd time I said, "just give me the Cadillac". With that she said dont talk to me that way. I was caught off guard with that comment and that was the 1st time I realized I was probably not being my best self. I was frustrated with the situation, but at no time did I think it was something of her doing. I appreciated that she called all of those other stores and it wasn't her fault that whoever I spoke with couldn't be located. I apologized to her and asked her again to give me the Cadillac and she said she wouldn't because I might leave a bad review! I typically only leave bad reviews and I had not had a bad experience up to that point. I let her know that she earned this bad review I leave now. I think she must have misread my frustration as anger toward her and that just wasn't the case. The Enterprise at 3001 Cooper (my regular store) put me in an SUV and I went on my trip. If you're in customer service, learn how to read your customers.
