We were in the middle of a cross-country road trip when we realized our oil had been measured incorrectly at a Valvoline in Oklahoma, leaving our car low on oil. As we drove toward Colorado, the oil warning light kept coming on — which anyone who’s road-tripped long distances knows is incredibly stressful, especially when you’re driving through back roads, tiny towns, and are over a thousand miles from home. We ended up delaying our trip and staying overnight in Amarillo so we could visit this Valvoline location first thing in the morning. My husband and I were nervous and worried it could be a much bigger underlying issue. Derek and his team were absolutely amazing. They were quick, extremely thorough, and took the time to explain everything clearly so we understood exactly what was going on. Derek’s friendliness, professionalism, and genuine care immediately put us at ease. The customer service here was truly exceptional — we never felt rushed or dismissed, and our concerns were taken seriously. Thanks to Derek and his team, we were able to confidently continue our long journey with peace of mind. We’re incredibly grateful and highly recommend this location to anyone, especially fellow road-trippers.
