  My car had a flat and I couldn't fix it because I was far away from home. I stopped by Brakes Plus and was met with a friendly, hospitable welcome upon my entrance. They were able to work with me dilemma and get me squared away. I would recommend them if you want amicable, honest service 👍🏾

  Ray was extremely helpful! He was very kind, got us the proper services we needed for our car, and made sure not to upcharge us. He was very accurate with the duration of the service and ensured we got the best technician. We will definitely be coming back for services on our other cars!

  went in for a oil change tire rotation and a very squeaky sound coming from my car they let me know that my brake pads were at 3mm and where the cause of the sound they gave me a good estimate on replacing them but i wanted to be sure for my own self that they where correct and after doing my own research i learned the brake pads where very thin, that 3mm equals about 25-30% of your brakes it is when you need to change your brakes they where very patient im explaining and making me feel comfortable with the work they did kaleb did a great job showing me everything he did they even promised that if the noise persisted i could come back and they would be more then happy to help me again I will definitely be back first time ive ever been felt comfortable going into any sort of mechanic shop and walking out knowing they truly helped and didnt just screw me over will definitely be my go to shop!

  I went in about a week ago to get my brakes checked and to identify the source of a strange sound my car was making. I was first quoted a very inflated estimate and was told my pads were at 2% and needed to be replaced ASAP. After advising them I didn’t need a lot of work in the estimate it lowered by over $300. I ended up leaving because the estimate was still too high and I was told there were problems with my suspension but “I wanted to come to an agreement with the brakes first” I was told. I’m thinking the bogus suspension job would have been thousands of dollars. I had my car checked by an independent mechanic and found nothing wrong with my suspension and my pads were at 15%. I don’t like sheisty people especially those that see a woman coming and try to take advantage.

  I came to Brake Plus on February 20 and spoke with an older gentleman at the front desk. I explained that my brake pads were recently replaced and are still new, and that my mechanic (out of town) had already inspected both the brakes and rotors and confirmed there was nothing wrong other than needing the rotors resurfaced to address a squeaking noise. I even showed him photos of my brakes and rotors. He quoted me $50 for the front and $50 for the back to resurface the rotors, and I scheduled an appointment for the next day. When I returned for my appointment, they inspected my brakes and confirmed the same thing my mechanic said. However, instead of honoring the original $100 quote, I was told it would now cost $400 because they claimed I needed new brake pads. This did not make sense to me, especially since my brake pads are at 80% and were just replaced. This experience was frustrating, waste of time and disappointing. The price change felt misleading, and I did not appreciate being told I needed additional parts that were not necessary. I expected them to honor their original quote and be transparent. Money hungry.
