We were very pleased with our car rental experience with Enterprise. The vehicle was clean, well-maintained, and completely trouble-free. I specifically chose to rent from Enterprise because I could reserve a car with GPS. No other rental company at Nevsehir Airport had this option. And yet, when we got there, I was informed that the car they reserved for me did not have GPS. I wasn't crazy about having to navigate my way through Cappadocia without GPS, and while we did fine, I felt like this was deceptive on their part. The car was fine, in good shape, but the tank was only filled a quarter of the way. I paid up front for full insurance to ensure no problems, and when I returned the car the attendant quickly pointed out a tiny scratch on front fender. I wasn't sure how it had got there - the chaotic parking lots and tiny streets lend themselves to such things happening - but I told him that I had full insurance and that this shouldn't be an issue. At this point he became incredibly rude and short with my wife and I, demanding to see my original reservation. When I had difficulty locating it in my bags, he started laughing at us. This was all uncalled for. Eventually his boss appeared and looked everything over and said it was okay and that I would not be charged. This wasn't a big deal, but I did not appreciate the way we were treated. I know there aren't a lot of other car rental options, but I would suggest trying another company.

The most unhelpful staff ever!! We have used enterprise on multiple different occasions, for this holiday we didn't rent a car but simply went to ask for some help in the airport and the member of staff that was working at approximately 10:30 on Saturday 23rd May was so beyond rude to myself and my partner. I think maybe working in customer service isn't a good idea for this individual. Due to this I will not be returning as a customer as enterprise clearly only value members of the public if you are spending a lot of money with them on that occasion. This is disappointing because like I say we use enterprise frequently. Do not recommend.
Trusted the Enterprise brand, paid a premium — then
double-charged at the counter, and HQ never helped.
The "you booked twice" claim, debunked by their own system
I trusted the global Enterprise brand and paid a
premium accordingly. When a serious problem occurred,
Enterprise headquarters did nothing — I had to resolve
everything myself. That is the real point of this review.
WHAT HAPPENED
- Booked via Enterprise.com (May 8–11)
- Pre-paid GBP 306.99 online, Zero Excess INCLUDED
- At NAV airport counter, charged ADDITIONAL
TRY 20,665 (~GBP 516) — ~70% more than my
pre-paid total, for coverage already paid
ENTERPRISE HQ'S FAILURE
My contract was with Enterprise. I filed a formal
complaint with Enterprise customer service and
received no meaningful response and no help. The
refund happened only because I returned to the
counter for three days and refused to give up.
Paying a premium for the brand meant nothing.
THE "YOU BOOKED TWICE" CLAIM — DEBUNKED
The counter repeatedly insisted I had "made two
reservations." This is exactly the kind of claim
that makes a consumer doubt themselves.
But a certain system screen I received from
the manager shows this claim does not hold. On that second reservation:
- Card Number / Card Type fields are EMPTY
→ I never entered card details there
- No pre-payment shown
→ not an online-paid booking
- TYPE: TRAVEL AGENCY
→ I never used any agency; I booked directly
on Enterprise.com
- Service Level: COUNTER SERVICE
→ a completely different payment path from my
actual reservation
In short, Enterprise's own system shows what that
"second booking" really was.
BOTTOM LINE
This was not my fault for trusting a global brand.
The bigger issue is that Enterprise HQ took no
responsibility for what happened under its own brand.
Keep every receipt, get all promises in writing, and
remember your credit-card chargeback rights.
