I had an extremely poor and disheartening experience at the Enterprise Rent-A-Car Istanbul Airport branch. I made an online reservation for a Peugeot 3008 SUV and paid in full beforehand, including comprehensive insurance. Although I arrived at the pickup location at the scheduled time, I was not given the vehicle I had reserved; instead, the car was swapped without any satisfactory explanation. To make matters worse, despite having paid for comprehensive insurance at the time of booking, the staff at the branch claimed my insurance was not comprehensive and attempted to charge me an additional fee. It is absolutely unacceptable for a service that a customer has purchased and paid for online to be described differently at the time of pickup. I was deeply disappointed by the lack of transparency, professionalism, and focus on customer satisfaction throughout this process. The failure to provide the reserved vehicle and the refusal to honor the pre-paid insurance coverage completely shattered my confidence in an international brand like Enterprise. I certainly do not recommend this branch. I advise anyone planning to make a reservation to reconfirm the vehicle class, insurance coverage, and all payment details in writing prior to pickup. I expect a formal and satisfactory explanation and a resolution regarding the grievance I experienced.
