But the main reason for the visit at this time was there was a raw gas smell whenever the car had been sitting at idle for a while - like following a remote start. And also a bit of noise from under the hood that seemed odd. I put those 2 together and suspected a possible leak in or around the exhaust manifold. Just turned 35K miles and wanted to get this checked and documented ahead of the dreaded 36K. The report came back “no problem found”. What makes this especially odd is there is no longer any gas smell detected and the noise was quieter also. I’m doubting the report
