  Awesome business, and the manager, Alex is fantastic. I have rented many trucks with a lift gate to move my vending machines, and other heavy equipment. Trucks are always comfortable and mechanically sound, and prices are very reasonable. I drive 40 miles from the south just to use them.

  What a horrible experience I had with Penske. First off, they sent me maybe 10 e-mails confirming my reservation and all of them stated that the truck I would be given would have a full tank of gas. LIES. They gave me the truck with 3/4 of a tank. I was pretty nervous about filling it up since I was towing a car behind the truck and the truck was already pretty large. I was happy about them telling me that I'd get a truck with full gas, but beware: they WILL lie to you. Second, I got into a thunderstorm on my trip and water starting pouring into the cab of truck soaking me and all of my possessions in the truck. I had a bag of CDs and food that got completely ruined. There was nothing I could do, but finish my trip. So I got in, unloaded the truck and returned it, telling them all about the cab of the truck and how my stuff got ruined. The woman informed me that I needed to file a claim, so I did. A month and a half later, after 4 calls to their insurance company, they offered me $0 compensation because I didn't stop in the thunderstorm while I was getting soaked to take pictures of my ruined possessions. Wow. So, in sum: they gave me a faulty truck that wasn't full on gas that ruined all of my stuff. BEWARE RENTING A MOVING TRUCK FROM THIS COMPANY. They will lie to you and your stuff will get ruined and they won't compensate you. They don't give a care about their customers, quite obviously.
