Few weeks ago I bought the brand new alternator for my car from here I installed it and it won't work, so I took it to the repair shop they also tried to start my car with this alternator it won't work. So they installed their alternator and installed it and then what! My car started again and works perfectly. After that I took my "brand new alternator " which I bought from this Advance auto parts so they can return it they said they won't return only thing they can do is replace, now what I'll do by exchanging this product, my car is already fixed ur product doesn't work at first thats not my fault. Why should I trust second time. And also while I was buying this alternator they charged me extra 40 dollars for bringing the old alternator and guess I did bring my old alternator and they gave me my 40 dollars plus 3 dollars. So they just got and old alternator in just 3 dollars rather I should have trashed it by selling it for 3 dollars. Never going to buy anything from these shops. Rather go to a local shop and tell them to repair it.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
