I have gone off and on to Tire Discounters for many years, and when they first opened the customer service was great. Over the years, there has been a steady decline. Took my car in for an oil change this morning and was checked in by a man named Chip, who definitely has a chip in his shoulder. Rude and dismissive, no eye contact for starters. Then he called me up to the desk to try and sell me an extra service to do with my brake fluid, but was so short and rude to me that there was no way I was going to have anything further done. I know that not everyone is super kind and cheerful, but when you will not even look at someone and act like the customer is an intrusion it’s a problem. This man should not be dealing with customers, period.

This is my go-to shop for tires and they are the best! Always friendly, quick, and professional. They make the whole process easy and stress-free every time.

I've been to this tire place multiple times, and each visit has been disappointing. We even bought tires here, hoping for better service. However, the staff doesn't seem to care much about their jobs, and the wait times are ridiculous—always at least two hours for an alignment, which is way too long. The waiting area is also outdated and dirty. If you value your time, I'd recommend going somewhere else.

We took my car in on Friday for new tires because they were offering a free alignment and oil change with the purchase. When we arrived, we were greeted by a man with a long beard (Chris) who seemed very unhappy to be there. He sold us the road hazard warranty, telling us it “doesn’t change the cost,” but never actually clarified what the price difference was - which turned out to be misleading. On the way home (about 40 minutes to Dickson), a warning light came on that read “TPWS Malfunction – Visit Your Dealer.” The system was perfectly fine before they worked on the tires. Because of a busy schedule with our kids’ sports and family visiting, we couldn’t bring the car back right away. When my husband called, someone was polite and said they’d take care of it tonight. However, when we made the trip back after work tonight, we were met with an extremely rude employee (bigger colored guy) who dismissed the issue. When my husband said "yeah, but they all worked until you replaced the tires Friday and then we got the warning message shortly after leaving here" and I quote the dude said, “No one can say when a sensor battery will die.” "It's not their problem and it will cost $79.99" He rolled his eyes and huffed as he walked away mid-conversation. I hope he steps in something wet every time he puts on a fresh pair of socks. I understand you hate your job, but don't try and scam people out of more money. Tacky people and tacky service. The sensors worked just fine until Tire Discounters touched the car. The lack of accountability and poor customer service were beyond frustrating. Between the misleading warranty info and the unprofessional attitude, we’ll be taking our business elsewhere in the future.

Frequently Asked Questions About Tire Discounters

How do I know if I need an alignment?

The #1 cause of uneven or rapid tire wear is misalignment. Your vehicle also may pull to one side or feel "loose" when steering, and you might even observe a drop in fuel economy. Alignment is critical to tire life and vehicle safety. In fact, if you install new tires on a misaligned vehicle, some manufacturers won't even honor your tire warranty. Everyday driving, potholes, hard turns, and sudden stops, gradually knock your wheels out of alignment. This wear is natural, but it can quickly chew through your tires. That's why Tire Discounters includes a FREE alignment ($129.99 value) when you purchase 4 tires installed. It's just another way we help you get more life (and more value) out of your tires.

How do I get a free alignment?

At Tire Discounters, when you purchase any 4 tires with installation, you get a FREE alignment. A 4 wheel alignment is valued at $129.99, and comes with a 12 month warranty.
