    Great service while picking and received a nice car. Unfortunately trying to change the drop off location was the worst experience I have ever had. National corporate couldn’t help me, and told me multiple times I would receive a call back from a supervisor - which I never received a call. One rep said to call the National location where I picked up the rental. The location was BNA - Nashville. I called at least 20 times through a 6 hour period, was put on automated hold for 5 minutes, and then disconnected every time. Overall, worst experience I have ever had trying to make a change.

    The individuals inside the Airport Terminal stated that I could not get a rental due to shortages. I walked out to the Garage and spoke with two wonderful young ladies that assisted me. My Son was in the hospital and did not have time to schedule a rental in advance but these ladies were so accommodating and professional. This was outstanding customer service.

    Had to update review. My apologies I had Nashville and Charlotte rentals reversed. Last week Hyundai Tucson rental had a dirty windshield (Inside and can't see it until out in sunny glare)and side mirrors. Also The drivers seatbelt also had an issue and would not lock in place at times. I did report this and was offered an upgrade but I was teaching classes all week and could not get back to the airport. But I did report the seatbelt issue when vehicle was returned. Hopefully they were able to catch it b4 it went back out. I did enjoy the vehicle while I had it. I did appreciate the offer to upgrade me or at least switch the vehicle out but my time constraints did not allow me to get back to the airport until my return flight. My apologies for the mix up on reviews.

    I had to return my car in Memphis due to the govt shutdown and flights changes and cancellation issues. So this review is for Memphis. This is my first bad experience in 20 years. I'm an executive member and I've made multiple attempts to get help from customer service. To no avail. Normally National has the best customer service in the business. I have executive status in their Emerald Rewards because I rent their cars so often.

    COLUMBIA SOUTH CAROLINA AIRPORT (CAE) NATIONAL CAR RENTAL, stay away from the National Car Rental located at the Columbia South Carolina Airport. My Oakley sunglasses were stolen. No one would return a call at all. No one would return an email. I would stay away from that location!!!!!! Very unprofessional staff!!!!!!!! SINCE THERE IS NOT A "RESPONSE" KEY TO CARRY ON A CONVERSATION, I HOPE YOU GET THIS. I WASTED A YEAR AND OVER 50 TEXYS, EMAILS AND PHONE CALLS. I AM NOT USING YOUR HORRIBLE WEBSITE OR APP. MICHELLE, I AM NOT SURE IF YOU ARE AI OR NOT BUT THIS IS A WASTE OF TIME. YOUR COMPANY COULD NOT RESOLVE THE FACT THAT MY OAKLEY SUNGLASSES WERE STOLEN!!!! YOU NEED TO REACH OUT TO COLUMBIA SOUTH CAROLINA AIRPORT LOCATION AND INQUIRE ABOUT THE STOLEN OAKLEY SUNGLASSES FROM OCTOBER 2024 AND I AM SURE ALL OF THOSE SUB PAR EMPLOYEES WILL SAY, " DO NOT KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT" YOU NEED TO DO THE RESEARCH, NOT ME. THERE IS A MAJOR THEFT PROBLEM THAT YOU NEED TO FIX, NOT ME.
