When I finally got another staff member’s attention and asked if he could help me replace the battery in my car, he directed me to another employee. This employee (while the friendliest towards me) informed me he couldn’t change the battery in my particular vehicle because of the store’s policy. Which I guess I understand, even though my make and model of car is not indicated on Autozone’s website among the vehicles they won’t work on. But he then said he could “do it for me if I slapped him a $20.” I respectfully declined and moved on. Terrible customer service.
