I called because I had come to this store to get a new headlight and the first guy, I'll give him credit still because it was tricky but it didn't get installed right because it was going in and out so when I tried to fix it tonight, the bulb fell between somewhere out of sight under my hood, probably not to be found again. I called, Alex answered, explained my issue, told me he would get my bulb replaced and he did just that. He also was able to check to see why my check engine light was still on even though I had just replaced my catalytic converter and it's the 02 sensor. But thank you Alex and please advance auto, treat him good!! He's a great and valuable employee in my opinion.

It ended up not being so, in the way I found out is a gentleman that works there named Eric, big guy with a big beard, hope I got his name right. Not only did Eric help me figure out it wasn’t a fuse issue, but he actually took the time to come out to my vehicle and tested multiple electric components to figure out the core of my problem. Now keep in mind, this isn’t something that they usually do. Eric went out of his way with his own tools, Took his time, and made sure I was taken care of. If it wasn’t for him, I wouldn’t have been able to roll my windows up and my car would’ve been flooded out in the rain today. I gave him a tip, but damn near had to fight him to get him to take it, very humble fella. Thank you Eric!! Top notch service and beyond

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
