  I went to the counter at the Nashville airport to let them know, I was there to pick up the car. The person took my license and credit card and told me to proceed down to where the vehicles were and say I have express checkout . Unfortunately once I got to the gate to leave the airport, there was no documentation in their computer system for my rental car. The person at the gate was extremely upset and had to enter all my information manually, even though I had printed a confirmation of my rental car when I signed up for it initially. I believe the problem was with the person behind the Alamo counter on the upper level of the Nashville airport. She didn’t do her job. I did get an email for the paperwork and it was correct with the correct cost and everything else with the rental car was fine.

  Alamo never stood out among the car rental companies, but when I rented from them about a year ago, I was very impressed. The car was clean, they had good makes to choose from, their employees at the counter and in the lot were knowledgeable and very friendly and best of all, they were quick at check in and check out! I rented from them 4 times since then at different locations and had the same nice experience. They are go to rental company now!

  The woman that helped me at the counter in Nashville, who’s helped me prior, is AMAZING! Cannot remember her name but she has always been uber-professional - efficient, pleasant and conversational while covering all bases. Easily one of the best experiences I’ve had with customer service when I see her at the counter. Alamo should be considering her for a promotion, stellar hire and fantastic service.

  Everything I needed at the right time and at the right price……including the ability to borrow a pair of scissors for a moment. Nashville airport has many car rentals companies.Michelle at the Alamo desk is a jewel! Filed with friendliest helpful attitude and charm, she made my rental quick easy and pleasant. Because of her, I will think Alamo first! Picking up the car and returning it was painless. Wish all my travel transactions were so smooth and friendly!

  we often use Alamo, love renting through them and always check them first. your people at the pick up and drop off have always been great. this trip from Nashville to Milwaukee I got a premium car, paid the extra money to get a nicer ride and unfortunately the vehicle had multiple problems. cruise control being the biggest. hard to drive 10 hours without cruise. the heat in back seat area would not turn off. the heated and cooling seats turned on and off on their own. front passenger seat wouldn't fully adjust. we had a range rover, it was the only premium vehicle Nashville had. would not ever want another of those based on this trip.
