  I had an excellent experience at Take 5 Car Wash thanks to Mica. From the moment I pulled up, he was friendly, professional, and clearly takes pride in his work. He made sure everything was done right, paid attention to the little details, and went above and beyond to make sure I left satisfied. It’s not often you come across someone who genuinely cares about customer service the way Micah does. He kept a great attitude the entire time and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. My car looks amazing, and I’ll definitely be coming back because of the service I received. If you stop by, I highly recommend asking for Mica — he’s a standout employee and a big reason this place deserves 5 stars.

  When I moved to Memphis, one of the first things I noticed was that Take 5 here was having some trouble with their vacuums. I drove to a few around the city and can tell you that a year ago, they were almost non-reliable. Also, the soap was water down, and you could tell it was. Sometimes, there weren’t even clean rags available. It was a total mess. Summer’s Take 5 is the closest to my place, and it was also dealing with these problems. But I always gave it a shot because I’m too lazy to switch my subscription plan and go somewhere else. Plus, the people at every location were always nice. That made a big difference for me. So, I just waited for the best one. Things have been going wonderfully lately! It’s much better now, almost like what initially drew me to Take 5 Car Wash. I truly believe they’ve made a positive change, and it’s working out great. You can see this in action because I’ve got both my cars and my wife’s on the same plan, which could save you some money if you’re open to using this service. I think it would be great to bring back those lovely lemon air fresheners. I haven’t had one in ages!

  (FYI: Today is March 26, 2026 and it’s 4:57p.) Maybe 3 months ago, this USED to be my favorite Take 5 car wash to go to because the car wash was pristine, the tire shine machine worked, and the vacuums could suck the paint off of my car if I tried. 😂 HOWEVER, sadly that is no longer the case. I came to get a wash ~ 2 weeks ago and only one side of my car got cleaned, the left side. 🙄 The right side still had most of the dirt it started with. I was super irritated but I was tired and I decided to let it slide. Today my car was covered in pollen and I have terrible environmental allergies so I haaddd to get a wash. This time it was more clean on the right side than the left but overall the wash was still subpar at best. my tires were partially shined on 2 tires and the other two weren’t touched! My hood and trunk were NOT cleaned AT ALL. there is still visible bird poop on my hood, trunk, & the roof of my car. if I hadn’t renewed my membership on the drive up here I would get a different car wash membership immediately! NEEDLESS TO SAY, THIS IS MY LAST MONTH WITH TAKE 5 CAR WASH! 🙄 **idk know the name but I have the second tier ~$22 membership. I am nursing student so I drive quite a bit daily but nothing too crazy for the average person. I don’t usually take the time to write reviews. I usually just don’t come back & I tell my friends not to but Im so pissed I pulled up to the vacuum stall to write this.
