Very disappointing experience.
I brought my truck in for brake issues and an electric vacuum pump install (cammed truck). I confirmed BEFORE towing it in that the caliper was busted and brake pad had come off and once fixed they could do the pump—and have been told that was the issue by mutliple techs including the tech that installed the camm. After it arrived, they refused, saying it was an aftermarket part that they could not install. Later, they admitted it was likely the issue, installed it anyway, and said it improved things. That could’ve been handled from the start. But thats not the real issue.
I also asked them to fix multiple known issues (bad caliper, rotors, pads, abs lines, emergency brake cable, and front-end problems). Most of that was ignored or left unfinished.
After a week, I was told the truck wasn’t drivable and already owed $1,600 for the calipers, rotors, wheel bering on one side, and pads with another $3,000 “maybe” fixing it—no guarantee (brake booster). Communication was poor, and there were unprofessional comments written on my paperwork.
After 35 days, I paid about $2,500 and got my truck back STILL not fixed. The brake issue just changed (now soft instead of stiff), the emergency brake cable wasn’t repaired, and the front-end issues were never addressed.
Now I have to take it somewhere else and spend more money.
Wasted time, wasted money, and very unprofessional overall.
