I originally rented a compact SUV from Enterprise on February 17, 2026. Upon arrival, I was given a Mitsubishi SUV. I began traveling to Georgia, but while driving through Mississippi, the vehicle began shaking severely. Due to safety concerns, I had to turn around and return home to Arkansas. Unfortunately, this delay caused me to miss the birth of my newborn niece.
We contacted roadside assistance as instructed and were told we were next priority for a replacement vehicle. We then took the vehicle to the Enterprise location in West Memphis, Arkansas, where we were only provided with a car instead of the SUV originally reserved. The young man who assisted us at that location provided exceptional customer service, even though the situation was not his fault.
My husband contacted the Enterprise location on E. Brooks Road to explain the situation and was informed that the Regional Manager, Robin, would contact us to resolve the matter. Robin later called, acknowledged the issue, apologized for the inconvenience, and assured us that everything would be addressed when we returned the vehicle.
When we returned the vehicle today, we spoke with the same representative we had previously interacted with. Another employee finalized the transaction and informed us that the total was $564.65. We asked whether this amount reflected the corrected rate, given that we reserved a compact SUV but ultimately drove a car, which typically has a lower rental rate. We were told the ticket had already been closed and nothing could be adjusted.
We expressed concern that the rate should have been corrected to reflect the vehicle we actually drove. The representative declined to review or adjust the charges and stated she would not contact Robin because she was off duty. We were told Robin would call us.
This entire experience has been extremely disappointing. The initial vehicle malfunction created a significant hardship, and we were assured the matter would be resolved fairly upon return. Instead, we were left without answers or resolution.
We are requesting a review of our charges to ensure we were billed correctly for the vehicle we actually received, along with consideration for the inconvenience and safety concerns caused by the original vehicle.
We are currently awaiting a call from Robin and hope this matter will be resolved promptly and professionally.
The young lady with the long locs needs to be released from the company, her actions and attitude reflect poorly on the organization and the cameras need to be reviewed on how we were handled!
Update: My wife and I spoke with regional manager Ms. Robin this morning and she handed our situation respectfully, professionally, and with haste. She assured us that Ms. Mariah's (young lady with long locs) actions are not a representation of how Enterprise does business. Mrs. Robin's leadership, accountability, and professionalism are a great asset to Enterprise as a company. I will update my original one star review but wont go above two stars due to the initial interaction with Ms. Mariah.

Horrible customer service. I was sent to this location by customer service because the vehicle I was driving was unsafe due to issues concerning the front end. The people working there could care less and told me to go back to the original lot that I got my first rental from. I explained that there were safety issues with my current rental and was basically told it wasn’t their problem and they had their own customers to worry about. ABSOLUTELY DEPLORABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND HORRIBLE ATTITUDE BY THE PEOPLE WORKING THERE.
