Some months back I was pulling up to red light and boom a driver's side front upper balljoint snapped truck wouldn't move so while waiting a few minutes for friend to come help a police officer stopped and said being a very low traveled intersection I can give you a hour to have it moved or he will have it towed at my expense. So my gf sit in truck and off to closet auto zone it's about 11:20pm so arrive by 11:25pm I explained my situation and young black man helped and fast so thanks is said and off and running so upon getting back to truck at 11:40pm and started my part swap and soon realized wrong part it's 11:50pm by now and off and running back to the zone arriving at 11:56 on my cell time and witnessed a oriental man in manager shirt and young man looking at him in confusion and manager was not gonna open doori offered any parts different to pay in cash or refund I can come back tomm just need to relook situation and manager said no then fee minutes go by and I leave. No help well mee and friend drug truck backwards skidding metal and got off roadway. So I went by my auto zone store the next morning summer Ave mainstore and we looked it over a realized that lower ball joint was packaged with uppers part number easy fix and correct part identified. I could have done same fix on whitten but we close before 12am sometimes. I'll stay with my guys on summer. I also like to say I shop 2 to 4 days a week at summer Ave and 1 bad apple don't ruin the whole tree. Thanks
