The only issue I had was that when I called ahead to check, the young lady at the call center said the debit Mastercard I used for the reservation would be accepted at the counter. This was not the case, & had I not readily had a credit card available it would have literally ruined the entire trip. The young lady at the check-in counter said it was because the call center can’t connect to the actual desk. That’s a HORRIBLE way to treat your customers. Please address this shortsightedness immediately. Why would we bother to call and clarify details in advance only to arrive and be rejected?? I’ve had that happen before, it’s incredibly rude & inconsiderate.
- SMSherri MDec 9, 20255.0I recently went to Alamo for a car rental. Upon arrival, I was greeted by Malik who gave excellent customer service. However, I was unhappy with the rental that I was given. Malik went above and beyond to make sure that I was happy and that I knew how to operate the car prior to leaving. When I arrived to return the rental car and roughly 6 AM on a Monday morning, I was greeted by Stephanie. Stephanie was smiling and giving great customer service as well. She sincerely asked me how my rental went and if there was anything that I needed to report regarding the rental. I have rented a lot of cars, but this was the best experience I have had in years. This is all thanks to both Malik and Stephanie. They are outstanding employees and should be commended for making sure that their customers are happy and pleased with Alamo. I look forward to renting from Alamo on my next trip, whether it’s to Memphis or somewhere else.
