- SMSteve MyersDec 4, 20251.0Beware using your credit card to help others here. I made a one time payment to retain a vehicle for someone over the weekend. Once Enterprise got my card number I was billed at will for subsequent charges I never approved. When I discovered this I called and requested my card be removed to prevent further charges. I was assured my card had been removed and additional charges would not occur. Ten days later I got a charge for another $214. When I called to dispute the charges I got 5 days of runaround and promised callbacks which were never returned. I was finally told that once a card was added it could not be removed and once billed that refund was impossible. Told this by the branch manager who assured me no further charges would be made. Don’t know if this is a case of incompetence or dishonesty. No good deed goes unpunished. Explore other rental car options. Enterprise responded to this review with instructions to contact Customer Service. I did so and got the same lack of integrity to own their mistake and make it right. Not what I call reputable business practices. 👎👎

Overall, the car drove smooth and was very efficient on gas. The only issue was the windshield wipers were smearing and windshield fluid was not working properly. Of course I didn’t find this out till I was already in another state when it was needed. But these things happen, especially with cars. Enterprise immediately took it to the shop to be fixed once I had returned it.
