Placed an online order for pick up so that I knew the part wouldn’t be gone when I went on my lunch break to get it. Showed up at the store and they said that they had no orders placed for their location, got back on the website and it shows that I did place the order for their location. Not only did they not have my order, but they also charged my card five times. I showed my bank statement on my app where I had been charged and the lady was extremely rude talking about she don’t care about my bank statement. And to call a 800 number. How does your store charge me five times And it shows on my bank account, but you have no record of my sale? Even the man was rude. I went in there with no attitude and no Hateful tone in my voice or anything. Will never go back to this store again until they learn how to treat people. I’ve seen other reviews, and this is not a Me thing apparently.

Yesterday I stopped in to buy fuses at the Maryville Advanced Auto Parts -store number #05631- and the female cashier was so rude. I felt like she talked down to me because I am another woman. While she was ringing- up my order, I asked her if a battery maintainer was the same as a battery trickle charger and she said, "no, the battery maintainer only maintains the battery..." So...
Today, I had to exchange the fuses for mini fuses and unfortunately, the person available to help was the rude cashier from the day before. I explained that I needed to exchange the fuses for different fuses and she said, "so?, go pick em out".
I mean, I work in customer service, too, and she is just rude/miserable/not nice!
I will not go back to this store and I will take my business to O'Reilly's down the road... she's so busy tossing her head and hair around so maybe I was interrupting her vibe, lol...
Anyway, Richard ultimately helped me out and he was amazing/professional/nice but I will still go elsewhere in the future and I will also advise my family and friends to do so, too...

I needed wiper blades. The guys there were extremely helpful in trying to find the right parts that fit my vehicle. Unfortunately they didn’t have the passenger side, but worked diligently to find a solution. In the end, we could only get the driver side to work. I ended up purchasing that, and at their suggestion, purchased the passenger side from another store. A+ service and customer support.

HOW DO BRAKES WORK?
Expand FAQ item
Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
