Sales side fine, I noticed a broken cover for a rear compartment tiedown ring. Mike said it was fine and it wasn't, it doesn't hold, it's broken. I was promised a replacement and it never showed at the shop or house. I also mentioned that the dash cluster was difficult to see, after a 4500 mile trip to SEMA Las Vegas, I had enough. There is no way to adjust the brightness and many Acadia owners are waiting for a fix. I called our local GMC dealer and GMC support, they acted like it was not a concern. I lost 8K dollars to get rid of it.
I don't expect a reply. A mans word is everything to me, I was promised the broken piece would be sent to me and that the cluster would brighten with a simple adjustment. My fault I should have checked it out much more carefully.

The dealership had my truck for a month just to do a transmission fluid change. For the majority of the wait time they hadn’t even diagnosed it yet. I asked about getting a loaner or rental while my vehicle was being serviced and was told there was a wait period of over a week, and once that time was up, I still didn’t get a loaner. After all that time waiting, I show up to get the vehicle and they try to get me to pay extra from what they quoted me. I had to speak up and say that what I was about to pay for did not match up with the quote I received. Come to find out, I was charged extra because the technician had to use two extra quarts of oil in my transmission. I was never told that something came up and extra fluids needed to be used, causing my price to increase. Instead, they tried to slide it past, hidden in all the paperwork and make me pay extra. The people who work at this dealership should be ashamed of how they do business. I don’t know how a place can stay afloat running off of shady business practices and obscure wait times. I know for a fact I’m not the only one who’s experienced this, but who knows how many people have been upcharged or scammed without realizing it.

The service dept took 3 1/2 days to get back to us with an estimate, and that included several recommendations that had nothing to do with the reason for service. $137 for them to tell us they weren't completely sure what the problem was and oh by the way why not spend a grand on this other stuff you didn't ask us to look at. Up selling service is one thing but the estimate wasn't clear what was and what wasn't required to fix the problem. And we had to call 3 days after the vehicle was dropped off before they seemingly scrambled to throw an estimate together. Would not recommend.
