  This place was AWESOME!! We got in in a reasonable amount of time and they patched our tire for free. Only 2 conditions: hype them up on social media and remember them when it comes to replacing your tires....the guy at the counter was really nice

  I had a really frustrating and disappointing experience at Discount Tire last Thursday (right before Easter). I came in after work with a flat tire. I had already put air in it just to make it there, and they were the closest place still open that had my tires in stock. Shane at the front desk was great—he checked me in, was professional, and even noted on my receipt that I specifically requested my rear tires be changed. I made that clear because one of my back tires had a nail in it and was actively leaking air. After the service, I left with my son (already past his bedtime) to grab him dinner. While sitting in line, I noticed my tire pressure dropping again. I pulled over and realized they had changed the wrong tires—they replaced the front tires instead of the rear, leaving the damaged tire with the nail still on my car. I tried calling, but the store was already closed with no option to leave a message. I even drove back—no one was there. I had no choice but to go home and hope my tire would hold air. The next morning, I called and spoke to a manager who immediately dismissed my concern, insisting they “100%” changed the correct tires. Instead of listening, he talked over me and even told me I was overreacting and needed to calm down. Meanwhile, I was looking at a flat tire with a nail still in it and had to miss work because my car wasn’t safe to drive. When I returned to the store, Shane again was kind and understanding, but management offered no real resolution. My options were to either: Pay another $300+ for the correct tires, or Have my old tires put back on No accountability, no effort to fix their mistake, and no regard for the fact that this situation could have put me and my child in danger. As a single mom, I trusted them to do a simple, clearly requested job—and they failed, then refused to take responsibility. I will not be returning, and I do not recommend this location—especially for women going in alone. This experience made me feel dismissed, disrespected, and taken advantage of.

  Dwayne and his crew are the absolute best. As we move from Ohio to Florida I caught an nasty flat. These guys went out of their way to not only get me a new set of tires in a couple of hours but helped come out and get my spare put on (Chevrolet didn’t provide the correct keyed tool to drop the spare). Without them we’d still be stuck. They were amazing and I wish they ran a shop near home so I could frequent them for normal vehicle maintenance.

  I brought my grandson's car into have a tire repaired. And the employees there were very nice and very professional. The general manager Dewayne Comer was extremely nice. Not only would I come back here I would recommend anybody that needs repairs on their vehicle whether it be brakes or tires or whatever to come to this tires discount on Old Callaghan drive Knoxville.
