I went and bought rims and tires which was exactly what I wanted. I had new TPMS sensors in which did not jive with my truck. Tyson made sure he found the correct sensors and made everything perfect. Thank you guys for great service and customer care

Big problem with time management it seems. After reading reviews it appears I’m not the only one who had to wait 3 hours longer than expected for 2 tired to be changed. It took almost 2 hours from my appointment time for them to even start the work. Hopefully the quality of work is better than their ability to be punctual and courteous of peoples time.

Facts: My name is Joshua Sands, I have been a repeat customer of Discount Tires not Tire Discounters. However, I have been wanting to try Tire Discounters because they have a location close to where I live and it would be much more convenient for me. I made a huge mistake and these are facts about my first experience with Tire Discounters located on Chapman Hwy in Knoxville Tennessee. • On 11/13/2025 I arrive at 1:50 pm for a 2:00 pm appointment that was set the prior day at the Tire Discounters Located on Chapman Hwy In Knoxville Tn. • I left at 6:05 over four hours later. • My vehicle sat in the parking lot for 1 hour. • My vehicle sat on the shop’s vehicle lift for 3 hours. • The majority of the staff went on lunch break at the same time. I know this because I watched them all stand together eating their lunch Infront of the widow that separates the lobby and the shop bay. • While waiting in the lobby I witnessed another customer that was waiting in the lobby ask for her keys back from the staff because she said that she did not have time to wait 6.5 hours “again” as she did with her previous appointment. • One bathroom was disgusting and looked like a 1990’s gas station bathroom, don’t know what the other bathroom looked like because it had an Out Of Order sign. • At 5:15 pm I asked an associate if I could speak to a manager. • Multiple staff members including the manager smoke cigarettes in front of the building 10 feet from the main entrance. • At 6:00 pm I asked an associate a second time to speak to a manager because a manager never came out to speak to me the first time. This is when I found out that one of the staff members that smokes cigarettes in front of the building is also the manager, because he finally came in to the building to talk to me smelling like a just smoked cigarette. • The manager had nice clean hands and I am mentioning this for a reason. • Tires were installed improperly. I drove about a mile down the road and my tire pressure light came on. I pulled over to check the tire pressure and all four tires had different PSI readings ranging from as low as 28 PSI up to 35 PSI. I bought 305/50/R20 tires and the manufacture requires much more than any of the PSI’s that were put in them. • The valve stem was installed improperly. My wheels require a longer valve stem which was not installed, which made it very difficult for me to remove or put on the valve steam caps and almost impossible for me to put the proper PSI’s in the tires myself after just leaving a store that’s main focus is tires. • Missing a valve stem cap. I know for a fact that they did not even put on one of the valve stem caps because when I pulled off the road to check the tires air pressure, I noticed there was not a cap to remove. • The building has security cameras throughout the premises so if upper management really wants to know what’s going on at this place, or just would like to verify my statements they can. If you’re a consumer, just read the reviews first. They have a team that responds to the Google reviews but its obvious no one is doing anything to fix their issues. Recommendations Prioritize your customer groups. Its 2025 make it a tobacco free zone for employees. Clean the bathrooms daily. Stager employee breaks and utilize the break room. Manage, lead, and hold accountable. If you want to upsell more products or services such as alignments, brakes, whatever, do it before the customer sets in the lobby for three hours and they may be more likely to buy. If you want the cashier to sell tire road hazard, make the experience favorable. I would never go back to have an oil change, or a tire repaired because it will take forever. Read the google review about the lady that just bought new tires but came back to have a tire repaired. I am scared to go back in there for any reason because I will be stuck there for half a day just like many other customers. Upper management please fix the issue so I can return to a service center near where I live.

Drove up after confirming they had my tire size in stock and the price... everything was fine I confirmed by phone I could buy a tire and leave with it to have installed elsewhere. They wanted all my personal information to buy a tire.. I don't care about warranty or anything just needed to buy a tire and leave but they want all of my personal information to just buy 1 tire. Said it's required and they have to have your info. Shouldn't have to give out personal info to buy 1 tire. This was today at about 4pm. They just give a confused face when you don't want to give e info out. Go elsewhere and keep your private info private

I made an appointment online, about a week and a half ago. I arrived 15 minutes early for my "free rotation" that was included in the price when I purchased my tires. My car was not serviced until they had completed 3 walk ins ahead of me (those 3 people were buying new tires, having a single tire replaced etc). It was very clear that they do not care about someone that had already paid for this service. I will gladly drive out of my way in order to not use this location again.

Frequently Asked Questions About Tire Discounters

How do I know if I need an alignment?

The #1 cause of uneven or rapid tire wear is misalignment. Your vehicle also may pull to one side or feel "loose" when steering, and you might even observe a drop in fuel economy. Alignment is critical to tire life and vehicle safety. In fact, if you install new tires on a misaligned vehicle, some manufacturers won't even honor your tire warranty. Everyday driving, potholes, hard turns, and sudden stops, gradually knock your wheels out of alignment. This wear is natural, but it can quickly chew through your tires. That's why Tire Discounters includes a FREE alignment ($129.99 value) when you purchase 4 tires installed. It's just another way we help you get more life (and more value) out of your tires.

How do I get a free alignment?

At Tire Discounters, when you purchase any 4 tires with installation, you get a FREE alignment. A 4 wheel alignment is valued at $129.99, and comes with a 12 month warranty.
