- TMTim MooreAug 29, 20251.0I brought my jeep wrangler in when I bought it because I wanted to improve the sound. If you have a jeep wrangler JL, you know the sound is pretty horrible stock. So, I had dealt with Ray from previous projects and they did a pretty good job. So, I pretty much went in and told him I wanted to invest $5,000 and went with their recommendations. They had promised me JL and 6.5 speakers in my sound bar and front dash. When I picked it up, they had used a MMatts amp and subs but was told that these are comparable to JL audio and I trusted them. Now the amp is pretty dang good and the subs are decent but they flat out lied to me and what I had in my dash as far as speakers, size. I honestly feel like they truly stole from me and when asked they continued to lie and cover up. Took my Jeep to American Radio and have been dealing with Curtis and it’s been eye opening how much they took advantage. To call a business thieves is pretty harsh but that’s the only way you can call this. Beware! They will lie to you and before you take your car there, read BBB reviews and at least get everything in writing. Sucks they took advantage but it is what it is. Lesson learned on my part. Just beware
- RBRobert BatesAug 9, 20255.0Absolutely phenomenal. I had a bad install done (high end Morel Supremo and MPS Limited amps and a Helix Ultra S DSP) in the DC area. I thought getting an actual good tune done would fix the system so I called Miguel from Waveform Tuning to tune the car. Short version was that the install was so bad that it could not be tuned properly. He recommended Mike and Chris from The Sound Factory to fix everything. I drove 8 hours to get the install corrected which included fixing the midbass in the door (remounting, proper sealing and sound deadening), moving the tweeters and mids, installing a front sub and replacing the rear sub and of course tuning. The car sounds great. Imaging is outstanding, the front and rear subs and 8 inch midbass are blended perfectly (midbass is very difficult to localize as it is sounds like it is coming from either the front center of the car or actually on the center of the dash), so perfectly that at first I wasn't even sure if they were playing because the doors no longer vibrated like a passive radiator... and the sound was coming from the dash?!?! I highly recommend these guys for any install but if you are interested in a competition level install and tune this is the place to go to the point that I will use them in the future even if I have to drive twice as far.
