- SKS. KNov 12, 20251.0I called to set up an appointment to have a windshield installed in my 89 Dodge. I told them up front that the windshield was already removed and the seal was removed. When I asked about the seal they told me they didn't need to order one because they use "their seal" to install. I also signed up for the "early bird special". Now it's the morning of and the agent Abram calls and tell me they can't install my windshield because it requires a "special" gasket which has to be ordered and also that they will not come to me I have to bring it to their shop. He tells me he's going to check with his manager and call me right back to see if the can bring 2 guys out to install it. 25 minutes later I have to call him back to find out what's going on since I did not recieve a call back. He tells me that they won't do that and the only way I can have it installed is to bring it to their shop 30+ minutes away on another day. I cancelled plans and wasted my morning to be there for absolutely nothing. DO NOT USE SAFELITE! as they are very unprofessional and have no idea what they are doing. They had a week to figure this out and call me in advance. IF YOU CANT DO IT YOU NEED TO CALL SOMEBODY!!!

Difficult to get your money back. Difficult to schedule. I did my part but Safelite dropped the ball. I will NEVER use this jackleg organization again.

They didn't take any responsibly for it and the guy had the nerve to say 'maybe a bird scratched it'... no joke. Will be calling corporate and my insurance company Monday morning!
