It turned into a pretty significant repair, and they could not have been more understanding and patient. The clamp they needed wasn't in stock, so they used another and the car has been running fine. These are stand up people, who figure out how to get the job done and take care of the customer. Will absolutely use this location again! Thanks so much y'all!!

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle.
