Despite this, Tyler refused to process the return, stating that his store manager told him it couldn’t be done without a receipt. He wouldn’t look up our account or make any effort to help, and he was noticeably short and mumbly throughout the interaction. To double-check, I called another AutoZone location and was told that if a rental is linked to an account, a receipt is not required for the return. This makes me think either Tyler or his manager isn’t familiar with the policy. Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time we’ve encountered issues with him—he’s consistently unhelpful and dismissive during visits.
