Today, I stopped by to get my older battery checked out in advance of the potential storm. Zach R. was really helpful and did the test which showed the battery needed to be replaced. This wasn't a 'let me sell you some land in the swamp," as I have known it needed to be replaced for a while now and had been hedging my bets. Being disabled, every penny counts as it does for everyone. I highly recommend giving your business to people who value customer service and kindness. I am certainly a happy customer. Thanks!

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle.
