I was addressed IMMEDIATELY when I walked in and didn’t have to wait long (not that I’d mind). The star of the show is Frank! He helped me and was very informative, professional and pointed me in the right direction with my battery (which was a year old and completely dead). He did what he could to help me out and even installed it for me because I couldn’t readily find my socket set! This guy is friendly, good at his job and needs a raise! If you need to go to an Advanced Auto, go to this one and ask for Frank!

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward.
